The main problem they are catering to online fans.
Since Glen and Abe got killed not a single major character has died. The war was weak because there was no real threat to a main character because the show runners don’t wanna upset the online community.
Think about Carl died by stupidity not in battle.
Enid the most useless character brought into the show is alive and playing a bigger part than Carl is.
Why is Father Gabriel alive? Gets sick and gets a real doctor killed. Goes almost blind and yet jumps out a moving car without a scar, then slugs Negan.
Jadis is accepted in the group even after betraying the group twice with members getting killed. Also she doesn’t offer to tell Rick or anyone that she contact with a group that has a helicopter. Doesn’t explain that her base is powered by solar panels and is a former military base. She just ignored telling everyone!
Jesus as a character makes no sense. He tells Morgan don’t kill a random stranger but put is all in to kill Rick???
Tara serves no purpose but is still alive.
Ezekiel is a king with mostly dead people.
Next season they have to cut the cast down big.

Negan played "Whack-A-Mole" with two of your adopted family members, had you living in terror and near subjugation for months, had your daughter on his lap calling him "Daddy" and you let him live? What happened to Rick "We don't take anymore chances" Grimes? Has the Governor, Terminus, Wolves, and Negan taught you nothing? I find forgiveness in that world to that extent more unbelievable than the Walkers...

Not to mention , this whole thing started because of a preemptive strike Rick made on one of the saviors post where he killed all his men at the post.

Since negan bashed glenn to the pavement, they have not allowed the character of negan to stay true to the villan he is and what the saviors were supposed to be. They clearly have been told they can't kill anyone else like they killed glen and Abraham which has taken a major part of the negan character away from him. They spent an entire season getting to the war, then stretched the war for 16 episodes ending again with choices a villan wouldn't make. This has made Rick look crazy in the decisions he making. If this would be the case they should have just went totally away from the comics and bring negan in as a good guy.

I disagree, Sasha killed her self and accomplished nothing. That attack on Negan with Rosita caused no damage. Her listening to that iPod was disgusting. Killing herself for Abe was beyond stupid.

I have read this as well. The audience was so disgusted about what Negan did to Glen and and Abe, the showrunners refused to allow it again. And you would have thought that either Simon or Dwight should have met Lucille at a minimum.

They better not turn on rick. Only thing I can see is that they’re going to plot on icing Negan and thats going to start a “beef” with Rick and probably make both of the community's stop fukkin with each other, but FOH with them going to war and shyt.


They done been through too much and I know Negan did kill Glen/Abe (retaliation) but Killa Karl was the only reason Rick let Negan live.

Can’t complain and say “not a single important character has died” then in the next statement acknowledged how a single character in Carl has died but then downplay it.

It doesn’t matter how they died, all it matters IS they died..... Carl is arguably one of the top 5 biggest characters in the show and there isn’t too many more surprising deaths than that. Don’t need to nitpick, Carl’s death can be said to be bigger that Glen and Abe’s. Cuz with them you knew it was coming.

Not true. Negan is at least a thousand deep. They took the easy way out, it was budget basement.

1000 deep??? How many of those were just workers in the sanctuary? He never had 1000 soldiers. If he did, they never showed it.

Feel like I got jobbed after a horrible 2 season build up.

The fight between Rick n negan in the basement was better than this crap by a tree.

And how it's a final ending battle war and no1 significant dies? We're they using rubber bullets or sumthin.

And how come the show completely gave up on da best storyline. Negan's baby hidden in the outpost?
