this show just has shyt set ups and writing. dont even show the saviors escaping and planning a counter attack...it just happened. so many opportunities to murk negan and nothing happens. carl is bitten and no one gives a shyt. show has ran its course.

i always felt like the series would end with Rick sacrificing his self so Carl could live...and Carl ends up being the new Rick in the end....

with this..it just feels like Rick has nothing to live for....wouldnt be surprised if they came back next season or the season after and Judith is like 12 years old just so they can focus more on her.

he was bitten when he was fighting zombies with that new guy in a previous episode. the zombie fell on him and actually bit him then. he just didnt want to freak anybody out by telling them earlier

if that's the route they going with it...out of all the close calls he's had.

Riggs went on to explain that the death served the story, and that he's looking forward to future opportunities, but his father had a different story. In a now-deleted response to a fan question on his Facebook business page, Riggs' father seemed to suggest that showrunner Scott Gimple fired his son from the show after promising he'd be kept on for another three years.

"Watching Gimple fire my son 2 weeks before his 18th birthday after telling him they wanted him for the next 3 years was disappointing. I never trusted Gimple or AMC but Chandler did. I know how much it hurt him. But we absolutely know how lucky we have been to be a part of it all and appreciate all the love from fans all these years."

Riggs' father didn't provide any additional detail as to the reason his son would be fired, though it's certainly surprising information if true.

Finished the episode last night and that final scene montage with the face closeups was behind corny and horrible.

Watching this shyt is like buying NBA2K every year...

You know it's bad. You know nothing will change. But you keep buying in...for the smallest hope that they will actually make something good.

At this point I'm just watching to see what happens. That might change though...we'll see.

Best way to watch now is to just skip some episodes and read recaps.
