Obviously they had enough. Their shyt got RICOed. No offense, but do you know what that means? Basically it means the investigation determined that Walt/Skyler were guilty of predicate offenses, in this case money laundering and tax evasion, since there was no direct tie to drugs. Drugs don't even matter at that point, those two offenses fall under the category of racketeering.

That alone would be enough to get Walt tried in absentia, and his home/place of business seized.

That's why Walt's home was gone. That's why Skyler was living in a little ass apartment and working as a taxi dispatcher.

Long story short, that means the case has moved beyond anything Skyler could offer them, except his whereabouts.

Fred.

Um no it doesn't mean their "guilty" of anything as that's a determination that comes from an actual trial. A trial in which they also have to prove the underlying crime ie dealing meth.

The burden of proof to seize property is different than the burden of proof to convict someone of a crime. Just because they seized property doesn't mean they think their case is strong enough to completely ignore anything she can still tell them. They can seize your property based on reasonable suspicion, but it damn sure takes more than that to convict somebody of the things Walt is suspected of, but hey this isn't law and order and neither of us are lawyers so again forget that and answer this question.

If the DEA wants Walt in custody and they know a. he's already targeted and threatened his wife and b. he's back in town why wouldn't they put more security/surveillance around her?:usure:

I was satisfied with the ending....I think ever since the Sopranos shytty ending we're used to shows pulling out some kind of suprise/cliffhanger type shyt. Personally I'm real glad they wrapped everything up and didn't leave any questions unanswered. Shows that they respect their audience and fans. If BB ain't the GOAT its damn close

After the mess that was Man of Steel I hope Cranston stays well away from a Superman role.
Save for the repetitive 20 minute fight, man of steel was decent, and now that the backstory is out the way, it should have better legs...altho jumping into a batman vs superman storyline for the sequel see,s pretty :patrice:

Breh you aren't making any sense, whatsoever. I'm not trying to be offensive but go read up on RICO, then get back to me. Like I said, the case had moved beyond a point where anything Skyler could offer would be useful. If they get them on racketeering IE, money laundering and tax evasion....both of which are easily proven with or without Walt being present, since his whole "gambling" story was a bullshyt house of cards built on false casino winnings....why do you think Saul left town so quick....anyway, that would be enough to RICO their home/business and put Walt away until he dies. Drugs don't even need to come into the equation. They got Walt the same way they got Al Capone. All they needed was him present to actually convict. Which is why the DEA was asking where Walt was, not details on his meth empire.

And I didn't mean guilty in the sense of a trial. I meant guilty as in, they had enough proof to seize their house and place of business, with basically zero info on his drug dealings, because that's not the focus. The focus is RICO shyt.

Eh, if you're going to continue to ignore the second part of my point no sense in arguing further, but LOL at you now saying the DEA didn't care about Walt's meth empire. Charlie Rose was talking about it, but nobody cared about this ongoing global meth operation because they got Walt on money laundering.:what::heh:
