I'll pick this game up on sale
too tense. I got headphones on, and there's constantly all kinds of 'bumps' and 'creeks' like the alien is close by
so far I'm really liking the game. it's kinda got a 'metroidvania' thing going on, in that you see a lot of doors and hatches that you need some sort of 'tool' to open. obviously you'll have to revisit these areas when you find the tool. I already said it, but the atmosphere is great. they really did the whole 70's retro-future sci-fi thing well, although that might be lost on those not familiar with the first Alien movie and that era

yeah i remember the devs talking about it like it was going to follow in the tradition of outlast, i guess the higher ups suddenly felt the urge to make an FPS

Basically if you've ever played COD it's nothing new...I love an fps with cod controls aka L3 to run; R3 to melee
It is in first person anyway... Even if the guns are useless, there are still guns
