I remember Drake on random Wanye mixtapes in 08 and trying to get that awful trey songz song on 106. I remember Cole name buzzing with the warm up because all the Drake stans flocked to him after he went with CMR. Kendrick was buzzing with the EP and OD, long before the Dre co sign(and we all know Dre doesn't get behind anything without any incentive) You are proving my point. Nobody in real life was fukking with his music until these blogs started slurping him and the label put out the 2 mil deal news to generate buzz. Labels paid their blog contacts to hype him when he was a nobody.

Mac miller has gotten better progressively with each release he's had and none of his albums really sound the same. He also produces a lot of his own shyt. He's an overall much more polished MC than ASAP and much better overall artist.
