This is the last chance that I'm giving Disney on anything related to their Star Wars franchise. If this show turns out to be a big bowl of "Meh" then I'm throwing anything else they have to offer related to this media into the bushes. The Marvel shows are getting close to going too.

After a rewatch I liked it much better, episode would have been perfect If they showed Thrawn with the classic music at the end, shyt is like the Castlevania Dracula fight music .

Until I re-watched the opening episode, I didn't pick up on the fact that that was literally supposed to be Admiral Ackbar and his "Home One" flagship from Return of the Jedi.

It’s actually not that bad. I would have preferred a movie of some sorts though just so more could have been put into the production overall in terms of quality.

I’m gonna have to go back and look at Rebels so I can grasp everything. Im familiar with it somewhat but now that it seems it’s more cannon now than before, it’ll be good to refresh my memory.

So far, outside of shows like obi wan, the last trilogy and a few others im missing, Disney is doing a decent job weaving the new universe when they stick to either things that happen right after rotj or if they go further back outside of the skywalker saga

Sabine is annoying.

Rosario's portrayal is kind of boring but Ahsoka is the broski, so I can bear it.

Hopefully Thrawn comes with the shyts this season. It'll be a little disappointing if the season is a boring leadup to his discovery.

Dollar store count dooku and his hipster niece don't inspire much confidence as main villains.

Highlight so far were those cheeks.

Sam Whitmer aka Starkiller was apparently listed in the credits under "additional voices"...

Not sure what voice that could be, he's only done Starkiller, Palps and Maul in the past and it obviously ain't the latter two...

I'm not buying that Marrok Inquisitor is Ezra, it doesn't make any sense especially after Ahsoka fought him...There is NO WAY she wouldn't be able to sense him through the force like she sensed Vader was Anakin...That would be really bad oversight and writing which I can't fathom Filoni being guilty of...

No saying its Starkiller either, but If Filoni fukks around and makes him cannon...

They definitely going to have to change him drastically though cuz he's ridiculously OP...

For what its worth, I've never watched "Rebels" and I'm not lost.

I would recommend watching Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 5, since it leads right into the first epsiode of this.

AHSOKA Brings Two KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC Characters Into The Disney-Era STAR WARS Canon

Ahsoka is opening up the Star Wars Galaxy in a myriad of exciting new ways, and the premiere actually brought two characters from Knights of the Old Republic into the current Disney-era Star Wars canon.

Hmm no wonder I felt like these two episodes reminded me of the knights of the old republic games.




the first two episodes were really good definitely loved seeing the rebels crew.

Gave it a B+ as a start. A lot of good stuff, and as a fan of CW and Rebels, was good to see these characters in live action. Pacing was definitely off which prevented it from being better but solid beginning and looking forward to where it goes.

But come on Dave. The getting run through by a lightsaber AGAIN was so unnecessary. There were numerous ways she could have gotten injured other than that again. It really lessens the impact of lightsaber damage.

ETA: Also wasn't a fan of other things like a prisoner escaping from the NR again. Maybe it would make sense to have Luke or Ahsoka escorting these high priority targets to their destination? More "this object leads to this person/place" ala Force Awakens and Rise of Skywalker and "headstrong young character disobeys direct order from senior person and disaster ensues!!!"
