BTW, its generally acknowledged that the more knowledge one has on a subject, or the more on becomes an expert one something, the less he truly understands about it. Obviously enough, intelligent people have doubts on everything because they are more aware of the complications and subtleties at hand, while those who lack knowledge see simple and obvious solutions to everything. Like the creation of some huge daddy figure in the clouds.

Better to know that you're ignorant than to believe that you aren't when you are.

Regarding the debate, the onus is always on the one making the positive claim. If you can't support your claim with objectively verifiable evidence, then it holds no merit. Furthermore, there is a hell of a chasm between the deistic creator you argue for and the god that you believe in.
