Album straight but pump the brakes
Album straight but pump the brakes
Must be some other 40 plus crowd, this joint is dry.Snoop and Dre made an album for the 40 plus crowd. It met my expectations. Thought the production was top notch. Snoop ended the album strong. I actually like the Sting collaboration!
Dre seems happy to make adult contemporary hip hop and test the limits of his creativity. I don’t want to hear Dre trying to chase the ghost of gangsta rap in 2024.
Listen then come backI ain't even bother with the album yet, but Dre been the GOAT.
Listen then come back
Iono, the "he needs help" theory is starting to look real.Dude almost has 40 years in the game.
Even if this project is weak, nobody touches Dre's catalogue. He can spare a few weed plates at this point, lol.

What was his last fire project with no co-producers?I listened to about 1/2 the album so far.
This sounds like all of the sh*t Dre's been doing for like 20 years, but not releasing. This is the vibe he's running with now. Some of it is decent, but dude ain't gonna be back to where he was in the 90's. I don’t think he's got that kinda heat in the stash today. But he never needed help. Suge was the only dude saying that, but only after Dre started winning with Aftermath. When they were first getting started with the Row, he was calling Dre the greatest, lol.
Every legend that's been in the room with dude, from MC's to producers speaks on the magic Dre works. In his prime, he was that dope, that people couldn't believe he was making music at that level. But he was.
shyt is Compton all over again
