If they’re constantly getting into the training ranges then that might mean they’re trying to figure out how technologically advanced our military and defense systems are.
Think about how illogical this is though. You have a civilization supposedly advanced thousands of years beyond our technology, they can do interstellar travel which we don't even know how to accomplish theoretically, they can defy physics as we know it....but their only way to monitor us is by flying around in plain sight with regular-ass ships that we can see easily?
If they were really technologically advanced, why wouldn't they just sit in the upper atmosphere and monitor us from there? Shouldn't their capabilities be 100x better than our own spy satellites? Why wouldn't they flood the world with nanobots too small for us to even detect and buzz around getting data wherever they want? If they want to know our technological capabilities, why not just hack into our basic-ass computer systems and read everything straight off our computers? Multiple teenagers have hacked into the Department of Defense, but an advanced alien intelligence has to have primitive drones in full view right on the scene to figure anything out?
I have a feeling it’s because we have conducted more nuclear tests than any country on earth. Sightings didn’t ramp up until the late 40s when the first nuclear bomb was tested in New Mexico a few hours from Roswell. I could’ve sworn I read somewhere that most sightings have been in areas with nuclear activity.
Or.....people started reporting shyt in the air right when humans started putting a bunch of planes and weather balloons in the air.
Just like how the sightings switched from large craft to little ones at the exact same time humans developed drones. Funny how we never heard anything about unmanned alien drones monitoring our sites until we have unmanned human drones to worry about.
Also, it's quite a coincidence that these "silver orbs" started worrying us at the exact same time that insurgents began employing mylar balloons en masse on the battlefield. The Department of Defense already acknowledged that the large majority of silver orb claims are explained by balloons.
