Jericho wasn't involved at all & managed to turn it into a big new deal where he got more power backstage. FTR just there for shyts & giggles since they also weren't involved. The people actually involved are EVPs that can't even get someone fired for assaulting them because the owner is a bigger Punk mark than Elite mark, nowhere to be seen because for some reason he has to smooth things over with Jericho (who again wasn't at all involved until he started sending Meltzer stories about how much of a leader he is) first.

If the "Booker of the Year" had even the slightest talent for storytelling, he could've turned the CM Punk situation into something even better than the Bloodline angle.
A real booker like Ladd, Bischoff, Heyman, Baba, Dusty, etc. would've disciplined his guys early, and then turned the controversy into a must-watch storyline.
The entire CM Punk drama should've been bringing in ratings for AEW.

Bucks didnt want to job to FTR while the bucks were champion. It's one of the reasons the FTR couldnt complete their "belt collector" gimmick. Dirt sheets were also talking about it during the time.
