Hypothetically FTR would make perfect sense to be involved in the Punk vs Elite storyline given they publicly shown support for Punk and have been screwed for having the winners takes all match for all the tag team belts against the Young Bucks.

Plus the series between them is 1-1. They really fukked up an opportunity to have that match. The Elite vs Undisputed Era was a big waste of time….it flopped and then guys got hurt/released.

If Punk does comeback? He’s gonna have to wrestle a super light schedule and simplify his moveset completely. He can’t out work the work rate guys anymore. 10-15 years ago it would be a different story but now Punk has to be realistic.

Punk is basically going to have to have that MJF workload as far as the in-ring work goes.

If they make him a focal point of their biggest story, they have to have him wrapped up in bubble wrap or everything is going to get fukked up again when he gets injured again.

None of that flying and flipping shyt. Probably drop that GTS finisher because that's just asking for an injury for someone with a failing body. He needs low impact offense and a finisher. HE has a finisher submission in the Anaconda Vice. Not sure what you give him for a non-submission finisher, probably something simple like a DDT.

It wasn't an insult of MJF's capabilities in the ring, it was more of a statement on how infrequently he actually wrestles. He's only been in four matches since he returned in September (not counting that casino ladder match)

I actually like that schedule for MJF. He's working the Roman Reigns/'85 Hogan schedule.
The champion doesn't need to wrestle every week. His matches should be special events that people pay to see.
