Punk shouldn't be the only one who needs to humble himself, the other 3 dudes would have to do that too. They would also need to drop that "EVP" title. None of that is going to happen, though, and it's not solely because of Punk. The "elite" covets the position that puts them above everybody else and they're not going to let that go. Getting Punk out the way benefits them and their click-y bullshyt.

Why is the onus on Punk to humble himself to Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, and the fukking Young Bucks? They’re the execs right? Shouldn’t they be trying to do business for the better of the company?
Brock called Jericho a fakkit multiple times and Jericho would gladly lose to the F5 anyday. Booker T beat Batista ass and lost to the Batista bomb the same year. They have the ability to do business. Punk threatened to walk out over 'workers rights'. Punk would never come back and do business, so yeah he will have to be on the humble. Its that or apologize to Roman, otherwise he will never main event in wrestling again. His fault.
