That makes it worse though, because nobody cares if a lesser known wrestling company partners with a lesser known shoe company. The AEW shoes are ugly and look uncomfortable, but only the die hard neckbeards will care about those ugly shoes.

i think a good 80% of the shoes will be bought and used to get signatures and probably resold or put into collections. but yeah theres def gonna be some true marks out there rocking the Delete 5's

Some of these dudes, like the Elite guys mostly, had shoes with PWTees who make these. So I guess it was more to add to that partnership, but yeah they’d have been way better off with an actual brand doing this. Especially something like a Vans which I’d think the majority of the fan base wear
