My interest in this game dropped the moment Yukes got involved. They peaked during the PS2 era
You know That's what we should've gotten in the first placeMore Khan mismanagement. This type of shyt is why you can call them 2nd rate. Should've just had them make 2k19 with an AEW skin
Tony Khan says he’s quite happy with how the AEW Fight Forever launch went, noting that the sales are off to a good start. Khan spoke with PWInsider recently and during the conversation he discussed the video game’s launch and more. You can see some highlights below (per Wrestling Inc):
On the game’s launch: “I’m thrilled with the launch. I think Fight Forever has been well received. And the future is really strong.”
On what he’s excited for: “I’m excited about the launch of Stadium Stampede mode and what that means. And I think there’s several really exciting developments for the game that will continue to drive interest in it over time, and it’s already off to a great start. So it’s really exciting to have AEW Fight Forever available to fans now.”
On the sales start: “I mean, it was important that we get off to a strong start for sales, and we did. And the sales have been great. We got really exciting sales data back from THQ. And that is tremendous. The receipts so far have been amazing, and the future is really strong.”
Well what do you expect him to do, shyt on the game to the media? What would that accomplish?I swear Tony does interviews like Donald trump.
"Well Fight Forever sold the most games and the game is stupendous. Really amazing. Bigly!
Well what do you expect him to do, shyt on the game to the media? What would that accomplish?
This ^^^ all of this...They should have delayed this game. They came in half mast and now they won't get a second chance. shyt had potential
Probably another stupid mobile game.In an interview with Under the Ring (via Fightful), Aubrey Edwards teased that she’s working on new projects for AEW Games that she can’t talk about right now. She didn’t specify what she was involved with, but did seem to imply it wasn’t related to the recently-released Fight Forever.
She said: “I’m really proud of Fight Forever. I was not actually involved with the team and Fight Forever, but the team that was did an incredible job. I know a lot of those guys, like Kenny Omega, had never developed a game before, so going through that process and having made — I previously worked on 12 separate video games before joining AEW, so kind of seeing how that sausage gets made, and seeing someone go through that process for the first time. Like, I know what that feels like. I know those blood, sweat, and tears all too well. I’m so, so incredibly proud of everyone behind the scenes for pulling that off. I’m working on other stuff for AEW Games that I can’t talk about yet. It’s super, super exciting. So previously, I’d worked on AEW Elite General Manager, which was our mobile General Manager simulator that came out about two years ago. Yeah, I’m working on some other titles. We’ll just say that.“
