Smooth sailing from here on out...
Them not showing anything about the CAW system at all was always a red flag. The most I remember seeing about it until the reviews/people who they gave early copies to started coming out was 2 screenshots & even that was a matchup screen & the one telling you that your CAW would suck until you went through story mode.

It legit scares me that there's a poor sap that put all of their efforts into making their favorite wrestler that's not in the Dub, and the finishing touches:

Push in the right thumbstick as Penta and he'll take his glove off.
Push in the right thumbstick as Adam Cole and he'll remove his kneepad.
To set a table on fire, get your special state, grab a table, and flick the right stick next to a standing opponent and you'll hit them with the table, set the table up, and light it on fire.
To toss a chair to your opponent and have him catch it van daminator style, have your special while holding the chair and flick the right stick.
You can do a special move with the ladder in special state. Pick it up and flick the right stick to pick up the ladder and spin it around your head.
You can jump from ladder to ladder if your opponent is climbing the opposite ladder just do a jump attack from your ladder and you'll leap to the opposite ladder.
After a match if you click in the right stick you attack your opponent, instead of attacking him, pick him up. Get close to him and after a few seconds you'll get a prompt to shake hands.

It’s a new engine
It’s Arcady but fun to play
Maybe to $30 it’s worth it
No this game has no excuse to be this bare bones. If the people involved didn’t know how long and how expensive a game was to make until after production started then that’s their fault
Good gameplay isn’t remotely enough if you have nothing to do but play random exhibition matches.
