Ay since we on video games, my TSC brehs… what y’all playing?

I finally downloaded Ghost of Tsushima since it was free on PlayStation plus and this shyt is pure heat. I’m about 70% complete. Incredible game. I need something to hop on once I finish it
I got the game for free when I bought my PS5 but never even played it. It's that good?

I used to play fighting games for money, but now I can't even beat the final boss in some games. The controls are too complex! I need a degree from M.I.T. just to throw a regular fireball! :damn:

I'm the same way with online shooters. I was a top 200 Halo 2 player online back when, now I can't play without getting destroyed instantly by someone ⅓ my age.

That game was boring to me because it was crazy repetitive. If you're looking for stuff to play, check out Horizon Zero Dawn for PS4 & then play the newer one Horizon Forbidden West on PS5. God of War PS4 & God of War Ragnarok on PS5 are absolute classics. I mentioned Cyberpunk 2077 earlier in this thread too. If you want something casual, then the Spiderman games are fun too.

I've been playing MLB the Show 23 non-stop since baseball season started.

Was listening to KFGC talk about the game and it cemented my feelings that I can wait until further down the line to pick it up. Hopefully around BF time.

After playing enough I can safely say that this game is a 4.5/10. 1v1 will wear out quickly and the casino battle royal is the only thing close to fun. Weapons breaking after 2 hits is ridiculous, and the RTE mode is boring as fukk and can't even hold a candle to the Smackdown 1 season mode. It's clear that this game needed at least 1 more year of development, but TK was done putting money into it and rushed it so he could get some money back. It's basically a weekend night game that you won't go out of your way to play any other day of the week.

How good is it? I've been wanting to get it just off the negro league inclusion alone.

I did an exploding bar wire match as Penta against Sammy . Super kicked in the back of his head and he landed face first to the bar wire and it exploded , his chest was burnt and face was bleeding :lolbron:
You can throw them out of the ring if you have a special when they are stuck between the ropes.

This is one of those games the award you for fukking around trying different things.
Hopefully this sales well to where it makes sense for them to continue to update this because you can tell this is on the way to be something truly special :wow:

This should've been an early access title or released at 40$. Like how 2k put out NFL 2k5 for $20 or whatever brand new to build mindshare. This isn't a premium product in 2023. They really made no mercy with the faces you can't customize in 2023. Why bring on Yukes and not have them make 2k19 essentially? That should've been the foundation and not a game from 2001.

I mean I get what they tried to do, but the problem with trying to combine 2 games that are considered the GOATs(HCTP is the GOAT fukk No Mercy) is that you basically can't decide which parts you want to implement that'll make it a cohesive game. The only thing they took from No Mercy was the special meters and short entrances, and the only thing they took from HCTP was the dark atmosphere. So what we're left with is a game that doesn't know what it wants to be. Retro Rebound basically summed it up perfectly and you can trust his review since he's an admitted AEW stan, but even he couldn't lie about the game's failures.

The Negro League storyline part is amazing, but I feel pretty short. They go through the stories of Satchel Paige, Hilton Smith, John Donaldson, Rube Foster, Buck O'Neil, Hank Thompson, Martin Dihigo and Jackie Robinson. I learned a lot about guys I didn't know much about like Martin Dihigo and John Donaldson.

I've just been playing Diamond Dynasty, which has been a lot of fun collecting cards & throwing together teams to play online. It's weird because I usually play Road to the Show every time I buy the game, but I haven't even touched it yet.

I watched Chris Denker (DenkOps) play the story mode and I see Kenny Omega's influence. And I mean that in a bad way. Some of those cut scenes are written like they just asked ChatGPT to script a JRPG. Or like when I dreamed of my own JRPG after I played my first Persona game. I was 11.
