Funny enough this game is a microcosm of AEW itself. Undercooked. Doubles down on matches as the value(fun). Lackluster story content. In-fighting that ultimately affected the final product.

I really do hope they upgrade creations as time goes. Truth be told, creations are what stretches the shelf life of wrestling games


When you can download entire rosters and remake eras, companies etc. with one click, it goes a long way. It’s a lot more important to the longevity of a game this Gen than some are letting on.


I don’t create anything myself but if I definitely download plenty of dudes. In game rosters get old quick. Nobody is gonna be playing as John silver and Trent Baretta. It would be ill to just download a spot on Okada or something with one click.


They need to prioritize that for game number 2 if they can’t upgrade this current game

This.The glaring omissions in the roster / the inability to create the missing guys. it just exposes how un impressive the roster is. it also really exposed how unimpressive AEW's presentation is in general.like you said, who wants to play as Trent fukking Baretta.?!

I already been calling this DoR 3 which means it's probably only fun long term that way. Played tons of DoR 2 in the dorms and them 4 ways was fun af with the homies. But that was 15 years ago. I'm still interested. I'm gonna wait and see how this new Yukes updates this.

what are you saying? Here Comes the Pain is better than any 2K release... breh it's not even close.

I’m saying no mercy didn’t age well and I think a game like hctp would have been a better game to base this off.

The current 2k games is missing that total freedom that hctp had but everything else is really good.

No game is perfect and I’m sure it’s fun to play with friends but that is not enough in this competitive market. I’m just disappointed in what I’ve seen from this game and my interest has gone down after watching the career mode.

and 2k has its flaws but I would rather play that then this super bare bones game that they spent three years coming up with.

Damn been playing this joint for 6 hours. Even though it's easy to pick up and play you can tell it's a lot of depth to the gameplay compared to the WWE 2k joints.

Only gripes so far: is the targeting in multi man matches, every tag results in 4 people in the ring, can't have a non title match with a champion

Hopefully they are able to update the creation mode before the year is over

Whelp barebones No Mercy isn't gonna be the GOAT in the 20s. I think it's past time we let the legend rest. They gotta be quick and fast with the updates to get this as up to snuff as possible.

I think even trying to rate it now is premature. I won’t truly know how much I enjoy this game til at least 6-7 months down the line. If I’m still playing it, that’s a win. If it’s just on my drive, I wasted 70 dollars lol

My first impression is feeling 7’ish tho. I would have had mad fun with this as a youngin

I finally downloaded Ghost of Tsushima since it was free on PlayStation plus and this shyt is pure heat. I’m about 70% complete. Incredible game. I need something to hop on once I finish it

I'm still on PS4 though

But at least I have an excuse,where I live in the country we just got good internet,so I'm playing catch up

All the internet we had was on Verizon and it was limited

So I been going crazy downloading games from the ps store now

But after I make sure the internet is gonna stay strong then I can upgrade to a PS5
