When you beat them the way he did? Yeah they do

Kids are not property
It was a bad decision but he is a human being and every parent makes mistakes. It feel that a switch was too harsh for a 4 year old but at the end of the day, the courts agree to the plea deal. Also the boy's mother made a written statement that everybody just wants to move on. The NFL is just caving to public opinion right now and trying to express their personal beliefs onto the players.

I bet AP won't even appeal

It's over breh, he is not winning this battle.
Numerous reports say he already has appealed and why wouldn't he?

Legally speaking what the NFL has done here goes against CBA...The suspension should be in line with other misdemeanor offenses which this suspension clearly isnt...You also have the question of time served...

Goodell suspended AP based off media reports, not solid evidence and he completely disregarded the legal conclusion of the case...Again the NFL had no access to any evidence outside of what the media has reported because the case involves a minor...In other words no judge in his right mind would uphold this suspension because there is no legal basis for it...

You don't know shyt about business if you really think they won't risk their endorsement deals.

Breh, the Mannings, Brady, Brees in the world won't lose endorsements if they show a little solidarity. Their deal is well intact. Stop being silly.

If he appealed then AP is dumber than I thought.

I can tell you guys haven't been in any large PR issue. The papers only go so far. The public has spoken, AP will not play another game this season.

I don't condone what AD did. I lambasted him when the pics came out, still I think this is excessive and sets a dangerous precedent.

The NFL turning into a courthouse (issuing heavy handed suspensions without a conviction) is a slippery slope.

since when we need a conviction to know whether a nikka did something stupid or not

No if he appeals then he still gets paid until the final decision. Which is motivation enough.

So is the commissioner is going to cave in every time the public doesn't agree with something now? This is now becoming a problem with the NFL. Goddell can't do shyt right when it comes to discipline.
Nah man, you guys are diminishing what AP did. It's a significant offense in the public eye. Who gives a shyt if it was ruled a misdemeanor in court. The majority speaks.

Think about it for a second and try again.

So if somebody accuses you of something that a court of law ruled isnt what happened you just gon accept losing your lively hood over it?

There is no legal basis for this suspension...AP would be an idiot not to appeal and he's already lost all his sponsors anyway so your PR point is moot...
