The country was divided on this case...

Plenty of folks in the south have no issue with what AP did...

Disciplining your child is not child abuse...a court of law agreed with that in this case...
If you are using the south to try to win your argument then you basically admitted defeat (and I live in the south now)

Disciplining your child the way AP did? It is CLEARLY abuse, argue how it is NOT abuse and then I will respond. Don't come up with some simple ass court decision to base your argument off of.

If you beat a woman or man with a tree branch like that it will be considered domestic violence.

A woman or man has multiple options to counter or respond...a 4 year old doesnt. Yet it's NOT abuse?

Your opening line was already an assumption...stop it

The only player we know beating his kid with a tree branch is peterson.

You are making assumptions. If you want to argue come stronger.

I noticed you didn't rebuttal about player endorsements. You making assumptions also.

I already point it out Peterson should be the fined that game he should be suspended.

Also, when I mean protest, not because of what Peterson did, but how the NFL making up shyt as it go.

You the media, of the moment liberal fakkits, feminists and Roger Goodell know everything about domestic violence breh...

A court of law and us who have experienced being switched don't know anything...

Lance Armstrong lost all of his endorsements with his scandal and he was the only known face of his sport. I get what you are saying but in 2014 even Peyton isn't above it anymore.

Difference is Lance Armstrong was the problem not Peyton. Peterson already lost all his endorsements. I'm positive that if Peyton goes to podium and flat out says I don't agree with the suspension and the falcons sucks. His endorsements will remain intact.

You don't get to choose how the public will react.

The public has reacted strongly and who is the one that stands the most to lose? That's right, the NFL.

They HAVE to cave when it comes to something in this magnitude. PERIOD
But the league needs to accept the courts decision and react ACCORDINGLY to the decision!!!! The courts and the boy's mother already express that they want to move on. And during the text to the mother, AP already express remorse for the incident. AP doesn't own an apology to anybody but to the his child and the mom. Every else needs to get off their high horse and stop acting like they are better parents than him and that they never did something wrong while raising their children. People just want to shyt on him now so that they can feel better, that it and nothing more.

Breh you are killing me here. I don't HAVE to counter with what you said...MANY players have lost endorsements for LESS. The PROOF is out there.

The NFL is acting in the interest for its players and the league...you do NOT want to put your company in a position in where it can enrage the people who make you your money.

Let's say the NFL did NOT act this way.

Public opinion CAN start to think THAT:
The NFL condones the act of AP beating his kid with a tree branch, the sponsors condone the action as well because they are still throwing millions at them to help build a league that openly allows child abuse.

Public possible response?
Drop the NFL network, don't watch the games and not support any of the sponsors that keeps the NFL pockets fat. People have money and they dictate what is right or wrong. Not a simple ass court ruling, the court ruling is not jeopardizing the league's money...the PUBLIC CAN.

You guys have NO ARGUMENT here. fukk AP, you want the NFL possibly jeopardize the earning potential of THOUSANDS of people over a dumbass who doesn't seem to understand what he did? LMFAO get the fukk out of here.

:snoop:

At this point, the NFLPA has as much power as Local Plumbers Union 773...
The more you think about it - Smith was a litigator that represented Fortune 500 companies when he made his reputation as a litigator at Latham & Watkins. I've always wondered all this time how the leadership of the union could be so inept. It makes sense that he doesn't know how to represent the "worker's" side. He spent his entire career protecting the interests of the establishment.

Wow, this whole situation is fukked up right now. I'm not stating that what AD did was right but the league and the public has no right on dictating how a parent is suppose to discipline their kids. This issue is for the parents to decide, not the court of public opinion.

Hitting a 4 year old in the balls with a stick and have a "whooping room" for him is called abuse

Adrian Peterson is appealing the suspension right away, per league source.
As per Schefter.

You goin a little too hard in here kiddo.

Is this dude a league office plant?

:lupe:
Not a plant, just someone who is able to realize what the NFL HAD to do.

AP appealing just shows his lack of understanding. He will get his pay back, but to think that he will play another game this season is foolish.
