1) racism
2) LeBron is hated so much people refuse to give the people around him props

Agreed although I def think there’s some tampering going on and he doesn’t always have his clients best interests in mind - vs instead having Bron’s interest in mind. That Trez Lakers deal really leaves a bad taste in my mouth and it’s not the first time.

End of the day if his name was Rich Paulstein he’d have glowing profiles in the NYT yearly and people would be floating his name as a future NBA commissioner.

I really do think there's a chance Bron's on the court/off the court success would have been greater without Rich and Mav. They've had to do a lot of learnin by trial and error. Cleveland got trapped by those TT/JR contracts. And Mav should have never Ok'd The Decision. Maybe he doesn't crumble the next year. Even with the success, I'm not sure the brand has been quiet Cleveland 1.0. Although I could be imagining it better than it was.

The flipside though is maybe he could have been much worse off without guys he trust. Rather learn with them than be lost with others. Always interesting to think about.

And regardless of success/mistakes it is good to see 2 brehs in power positions.
