First off- RIP to this young man.
It clearly sounds like he was lynched, but if they have video proof of him purchasing the rope in their town…
THAT is different. And even then, I’m still iffy.But to keep it real, they don’t have an issue doing this stuff to us.
To be real, we just saw a Black woman literally get murdered by a cop on camera not too long ago. What was our response?
They don’t fear doing things to us.
I don’t want to think of this young man taking his own life because that is terrible.
But I also don’t want to think about racists taking his life. But I wouldn’t be surprised because they don’t fear touching us.
Tell your family to be careful and watch their surroundings. White folks are going to be acting a fool as the election gets closer, and they will really cut a fool after the election and around inauguration.

I have my doubts that it was suicide by hanging as it is far behind suicide by gun according to statistics but it's possible.

I feel you but the link I posted was from 2020 and suicide by gun was at 53% whereas suffocation (which includes hanging) was at 27%

27% isn’t some insignificant amount that makes the notion of this breh hanging himself seem implausible, so I’m not sure why you’re using that to cast doubt.
Your link is all ages. My link points out that older people tend to choose gun overwhelmingly, younger people much more likely to choose hanging.
Either way, 27% of 40,000 suicides would be 10,000 suicides by suffocation/hanging each year. So hearing a report of a suicide by hanging and wanting to doubt it because "but there's only 10,000 suffocation/hanging suicides every year" doesn't make sense.
