I wonder how many finals MVP votes Jimmy Butler got for willing his depleted team to 2 wins in the NBA finals, like Bron got in 2015?

hmmmmm, I wonder

EDIT: I didn’t realize y’all were talking about this a few posts above lol

Because people like to change the narrative for LeBron based on the day. They want him to be this era's Jordan so bad that they're dishonest about 2015 and 2016. People retroactively made the 2015 Warriors this all time great juggernaut who Lebron had to go up against alone and because of that he deserved the FMVP even tho he lost, blew a 2-1 lead where he lost 3 straight games, played like shyt in Game 4, and shot horribly. People forget Klay was a first time all-star who shot 30 percent in the Finals that year, that Draymond was in his first year starting, that even tho Steph was the MVP people didn't respect him and thought Harden should have won.

In 2016 people ignore Steph, Iggy, and Bogut being hurt. They ignore that Draymond didn't get suspended until the NBA retroactively gave him a flagrant foul, something that has never happened before, that the Cavs lobbied for. I repeat: They RETROACTIVELY suspended a starter in a closeout game in the NBA Finals.

Yet....2015 LeBron apparently should have been the FMVP to the point the writers gave Iggy the award instead of Steph and the 2016 Championship is the greatest championship ever and made Bron the GOAT....that is until this years Finals which is now the "hardest won" Finals in history because players had to play at Disneyland for 3 months.

I can't wait for him to retire so I don't have to see this bullshyt anymore.
The most irresponsible votes in finals mvp history tbh.

Man when we swept New Orleans, it didn’t count bc Jrue was injures

when we beat the Grizzlies it was bc Conley was hurt

when we beat the rockets in 2015, it was bc Pat Bev (lmaoooo) was hurt

and it didn’t count bc we didn’t play the Spurs or Clippers in 2015 so it didn’t count

lakers beat a depleted Miami team with 2 of their 3 stars (Dragic and Bam) not healthy. Dragic was their playoff leading scorer and only played this last game off an injury that takes months to heal

But this was the HARDEST chip to win, and a “chip is a chip” now
Don’t forget about 2017: Only beat Portland because Nurkic wasn’t there :russ:. Lucky George hill wasn’t Healthy or Utah would’ve made it. Thank Zaza for injuring kawhi or y’all would’ve lost to the spurs :deadmanny:. The funniest thing about it all was “The Warriors are unfair they ruined the league” but injuries was why they won:dead::dead::dead::dead::dead::dead::dead::dead:

ESPN was pushing Lebron hard that year. Kobe was injured all ready and KD vs Lebron was supposed to be the next big Finals rivalry. Then a 6'3 lightskin dude came outta nowhere and jumped everybody by shooting 3's.

There was bias against Steph and that FMVP proved it. Only one media member picked the Warriors to win that year but yet LeBron had to overcome "so much":unimpressed:

this whole "duo" talk this year (Harden and Sabo, Giannis and Middleton, PG and Kawhi, Bron and AD, etc) was a false equivalence

No one in the NBA has 2 top 5 players on the same team but them with multiple All-defensive players, vets, and players with playoff/finals exp as they do.

but ofc no one thinks it's unfair now.

And lets not even mention MVP votes. KD and Steph aint get a damn MVP vote. Dumbass rachel nichols voted for Ricky rubio over Klay Thompson for All-defense bc he played for the warriors.

It's why i'm pretty much out on NBA media.

Series was tied and Steph had 37/7/4 and then 25/8/6 in the closeout game:mjlol:

Iggy was great in Game 4 and and Game 6 but even he says that he was wide open in that series because they were doubling Steph. People don't understand how much of the offense he creates.

Saw a social media post that Andre announced his retirement. Can't find any mainstream sources tho. Is it true?

Lebron is a great player but the way he bullys the media is fukking shameful. From talking slick about stephs MVPs saying MVP doesn’t always meant best player to saying announcing he was the best player in the world during the 2015 finals to now pressing the media about only getting 10 mvp votes this season. The shyt fukking reeks of desperation and insecurity.

Never seen someone who's considered top 5 all time complain so much. Mans has a losing record against most of his contemporaries and yet stay talking greasy. Another reason why I'll die saying Kobe>Bron.
