Kerr did an interview with TK, here's a great summary:

@Gil Scott-Heroin: Gotta get that value up for EP!!

:russ:

:sadcam:

:pachaha:
I understand the tax implications but they'd be dumb to not use the TPE. They could add 1 really quality player or a couple guys who could help them compete seriously next year. If they don't they're gonna have to pray Wiggins can be a 20+ ppg scorer consistently and hope their young players develop quickly. If you want 2-3 more rings with this core you gotta be willing to spend NOW.

Warriors brehs I find it funny how when we beat the Cavs in 2015 there was non-stop crying and complaining cuz Kyrie and Kevin Love got hurt. Yet LeBum got to beat up on a depleted Heat team on a path to a ring and yet no such outrage? :jbhmm:
Even if healthy that Heat team wasn't beating them tho breh.

Lakers were beating up on injury-riddled teams all throughout the playoffs (and dodged their biggest threat - Clippers). But we all know why it's being swept under the rug.

Man when we swept New Orleans, it didn’t count bc Jrue was injures

when we beat the Grizzlies it was bc Conley was hurt

when we beat the rockets in 2015, it was bc Pat Bev (lmaoooo) was hurt

and it didn’t count bc we didn’t play the Spurs or Clippers in 2015 so it didn’t count

lakers beat a depleted Miami team with 2 of their 3 stars (Dragic and Bam) not healthy. Dragic was their playoff leading scorer and only played this last game off an injury that takes months to heal

But this was the HARDEST chip to win, and a “chip is a chip” now

The shyt that used to irritate me the most about them times was cats were saying it like the Warriors were personally out there injuring those teams' players. Dudes would deadass hold that injury shyt over the Warriors heads :upsetfavre:
Yet now they silent as LeBrick gets to beat up on an injured 5th seed for a championship, what a fukkin joke :gucci:

Because people like to change the narrative for LeBron based on the day. They want him to be this era's Jordan so bad that they're dishonest about 2015 and 2016. People retroactively made the 2015 Warriors this all time great juggernaut who Lebron had to go up against alone and because of that he deserved the FMVP even tho he lost, blew a 2-1 lead where he lost 3 straight games, played like shyt in Game 4, and shot horribly. People forget Klay was a first time all-star who shot 30 percent in the Finals that year, that Draymond was in his first year starting, that even tho Steph was the MVP people didn't respect him and thought Harden should have won.

In 2016 people ignore Steph, Iggy, and Bogut being hurt. They ignore that Draymond didn't get suspended until the NBA retroactively gave him a flagrant foul, something that has never happened before, that the Cavs lobbied for. I repeat: They RETROACTIVELY suspended a starter in a closeout game in the NBA Finals.

Yet....2015 LeBron apparently should have been the FMVP to the point the writers gave Iggy the award instead of Steph and the 2016 Championship is the greatest championship ever and made Bron the GOAT....that is until this years Finals which is now the "hardest won" Finals in history because players had to play at Disneyland for 3 months.

I can't wait for him to retire so I don't have to see this bullshyt anymore.

If the Warriors shore up some defensive spots and add some legit size they can beat any team in the league. I think the team believes in Wiggins more than most do. If they don't use the TPE to add an impact player it's because they believe that Steph, Klay, Wiggins, Dray, and a quality center with a decent bench can get them to the Finals next year.

It makes sense since Steph, Klay, Iggy/Barnes, Dray, Bogut and a quality bench got them to the Finals 2 straight years and they made it there last year minus KD and Barnes with McKinnie playing big minutes at the 3.

Edit:

I'm becoming more pessimistic on them using the TPE so as far as wing upgrades go I'm thinking:

Jeff Green
Kent Bazemore
Jae Crowder (If we're lucky)
GRIII

I think these are very realistic and would help a lot. Especially Jeff Green. He does everything we'd want from someone like Harrison Barnes or a Paul Millsap while still having his athleticism and not needing him to play a huge role.

Bazemore knows how to play with Steph and Klay and has a 7 foot wingspan. Could easily play the Iggy role with slightly worse defense.

Edit 2: Mitchell Robinson as a rookie avg 7/6 and 2 blocks per game in just 20 minutes. He was a 2nd round pick and is 7'0 with a 7'4 wingspan. James Wiseman is 7'1 with a 7'6 wingspan and a lock to be a top 6 pick. I'd take Robinson on my team so I'd damn sure take Wiseman without a second thought.
