Gobert is a terrible fitI'm not hoping it goes this way, but in the back of my mind, I can't help but think that Gobert may wind up here.....
Gobert is a terrible fit
Gobert is a terrible passer thoughI agree and would rather get Wiseman. But if the front office is looking for an established center that can board and throw out to the 2 best shooters in the league.......I could see them doing this. But I hope that's not how it works out...

Who is stopping them in the West? The Lakers? It's AD, a 36 yr old LeBron and Kyle Kuzma. You add size in the front court and they have no way to hurt you and they won't be able to stop Steph and Klay if they're healthy.
The Clippers? That team is a mess and Steph is a career 31 ppg vs Kawhi. They couldn't slow down Jamal Murray. Nuggets aren't that good defensively and probably won't be next year. Who's the team that is so good they can keep the Warriors from the Finals next year?
Rudy would eat off the clean up points and offensive boards aloneI agree and would rather get Wiseman. — I’ve moved Wiseman to No. 2. Obviously, his placement at No. 2 would seemingly go against a lot of what I stated above. So why is he so high? Again, it comes down to star power for me. While Wiseman isn’t necessarily the shot creator that some of the names above are, I do think he is a genuine potential defensive player of the year candidate at some point. His size and length at 7-foot-1 with something in the ballpark of a 7-foot-6 wingspan gives him ideal size, and his strength improvement has allowed him to make genuine strides absorbing contact. Additionally, having talked to sources (both players and trainers) who have seen him working out in Miami, there is genuine buzz that he looks phenomenal (and this isn’t coming from players or agents who are repped by Wiseman’s Excel agency, either).
Beyond that, I don’t think Wiseman really hinders you from a team-building perspective, either. Offensively, his game is a fit in the modern NBA if the jumper keeps coming along (something I have faith in). He can rim run with ease, with the ability to high-point the ball over even most NBA centers due to his leaping and length. And I think at some point he will be a pick-and-pop or trailer 3-pointer threat in transition. Throw in that he’s regarded to be a very intelligent kid who takes coaching extremely well, and I’ll buy into Wiseman figuring out how to be a high-level center on both ends of the floor.
If he can be anywhere close to Bam we GucciMan let’s just draft wiseman. Chances are, he will be the BPA and he fits us positionally.
We need size and we can try and go for another center in FA (even though that will give us 4 total centers)
I’d rather take wiseman. I think he can be close to as good of a paint defender as gobert but much better guarding the perimeter. Wiseman offensive game already looks more versatile than gobert’s.I'm not hoping it goes this way, but in the back of my mind, I can't help but think that Gobert may wind up here.....
I agree. He’s a solid role player but not some foundational piece.I'm probably in the minority here, but I don't particularly rate Paschall; I think he's someone the Warriors should look to move while his value is high.
So the Lakers who have no meaningful draft picks and no cap space unless they find somebody to take on Danny Green's contract and move Kuzma have a better chance of shoring up their weaknesses than the Warriors???The Lakers will shore up some of their weaknesses next year and be back in the finals.
i think that's possible, outside of the assistsIf he can be anywhere close to Bam we Gucci
That’s true. They don’t have much of a future after trading for AD.So the Lakers who have no meaningful draft picks and no cap space unless they find somebody to take on Danny Green's contract and move Kuzma have a better chance of shoring up their weaknesses than the Warriors???
Lakers better be happy with that covid ring cause that's the only thing they winning for the foreseeable future
Over here struggling with the JV version of the Warriors and think I'm worried bout some damn Lakers
