Sounds like deflection cause that doesn’t describe the top 3 players in this draft
Exactly....unless they reach or trade down. Plus he's talking out both sides because if he's looking for what's winning in the league right now how can he look at AD and not realize we don't have an answer for that on our roster right now. There's no wing in this draft that's going to make up for that.

I think he's a classic case of putting up #s on a bad team. Nothing he did last season really stood out for me; not in terms of his play, in isolation, nor as a piece that fits Warriors basketball. He's a black hole with poor shot selection, is horrific on defense, and has subpar BBIQ (especially given the fact he spent four years in college - you compare him to someone like Brandon Clarke, and the difference is night and day).

For me, I've always tempered EP with a dash of reality because of where he was drafted. It's possible to get a great player at the back end of the draft, but it's a lot tougher to do.

But overall, I thought he (and our other young guys to be honest) played very well last year, despite the losing record. What should be mainly our bench unit was forced to play against starters all season and except for a few blowouts, they hung with most teams fairly well (despite losing, lol!!). I think I'm one of the few that really enjoyed watching the younger guys play and grow this season. I knew we weren't going to compete for the chip, so I was good with letting the kids ball out.

So my preference would be see how the team as a whole fits before any major moves, but I trust Bob Myers to evaluate all the options and make a good choice.

Or that they're looking to move down because LaMelo and Edwards were never really serious prospects for them giving their redundancy.

The way I see it they better find a answer inside because it’s going to be a layup drill out there against la. Size matters, it really matters when your trying to get past la.

And we can't rebound for shyt. They better not try to get cute with this. If Wiseman is there take him unless a blockbuster trade in our favor is available.

I'm not hoping it goes this way, but in the back of my mind, I can't help but think that Gobert may wind up here.....

I'll take Gobert but I prefer Wiseman simply for age and contract purposes.

Agree. Additionally, Rudy hasn't attempted a 3 but Wiseman can hit them. Not where I want a 7 footer to play his game, but it's a nice tool to be able to utilize once in awhile...

Edit: Plus, unless we're getting something else back of value, then I'd much rather go with the younger player in this case. And I think Wiseman can give us what Rudy would (plus more) in short order...
