Dragonstone and the islands around it were the biggest loyalists to the Mad King and Robert wanted someone strong to govern them and watch his back.
The show made it seem like Stannis was slighted because Robert didn't give him Storms End
He was really. Storm's End is the seat of House Baratheon so Stannis being the next oldest should have gotten it when Robert became king. Plus Storm's End contains a lot more land and wealth. But Stannis would probably have bytched regardless if he got Storm's End cause he would feel Robert should have put the responsibility of watching his back to him.
I fukks with Stannis. Dude is a G. I wonder how things will turn out with him. The fat man needs to finish the damn books....
I fukks with Stannis too but he's just a miserable person.
Yea, Stannis is not the type of dude you'd want to kick it with on a Friday night. Dude barely drinks, he has no real personality, does not chase hoes and holds grudges like a motherfukker. But, I'd rather he sit the iron throne rather than anyone else except maybe Danny who arc seems to be at a damn standstill. How long is this whore going to dikk around in Mereen.....
I read the red wedding again and I am feeling furious. Who knew I could get trolled by a book in this manner. Disgusting...

If done properly, this could really go down as one of the most disturbing scenes in TV history. I'm talking Pesci's death at the end of "Casino" type shyt though.
She's not in mereen anymore lol
but as far as Stannis goes, Dragonstone was always the seat of the next inline for the throne. Its where Rhaegar's seat was when he was heir and the heir before that ect. It was where Aegon attacked from before he commissioned Kings Landing to be built. So I think Robert made Stannis go there because Stannis was next in line, however it was a kind of unwritten rule..he could have very well let Stannis keep Storm's End and it would have been no big deal.
Does Dany Targaryen ever learn that her father was a big a$$hole?
So yall just gonna ignore this question?
