Chick sounds shady to me. You got a boyfriend but you on a road trip with another man sharing a hotel room with him intoxicated. If I was her man I would have had to drop her too. She sounds like she's playing this up to damage him. He might be a sexual deviant but in this case it's not that bad just awkward.
This guy nurtured a community of extremists and male feminists that unsurprisingly turned on him. Here if it came out the owner got shot down by a chick like that posters would laugh at it maybe clown him for a bit and move on. Over there the whole site imploded.
i am of a similar opinion. yes, he was wrong, not for trying to shoot his shot but in the manner in which he did, but at the very least the circumstances are questionable regarding the situation. No way in hell would my girl be in a situation like that, what was she thinking? but then again i'm a young black male and would likely be labelled as having "toxic hyper masculinity" simply for believing that someone in a monogamous relationship shouldn't have been in a situation like that.
People don't like to discuss the recent trend to convenient infantilize women in certain scenarios just to give them a pass. Women are capable beings, surely an adult, fully capable one, could/should rationalize that that isn't the best scenario to find yourself in when you are in a monogamous relationship right?
I make reference to me being a young black male because perhaps its a cultural thing, to me, hollaring at women isn't something that is inherently wrong depending on your approach, timing and location, humans are social beings after all, but every other day i get on the internet i see simple non aggressive or offensive interactions being labelled "harassment" just because some dude said "hi" to a shorty that was passing by. Notice how majority of these "street harassment" videos feminists often upload to youtube are they walking through minority populated areas and its just a bunch of nikkas say "hi"/"wassup"
There are a bunch of creeps and weirdo men in the world that should be held accountable for their entitlement and creep behavior, as well as for not knowing how to deal with rejection, but let's not act like it hasn't become a social media trend to blow things out of proportion and that some stories are fabricated and embellished and the narrative is always to portray women as "damsel in distress", which is ironic enough considering feminists movements often are critical of that depiction of women in fictional stories (tv, games etc).
Just this week i saw a dude on twitter say some shyt like "if a woman is talking and even if she's wrong, as a man you should just shut the fukk up and listen" shyt had wild retweets and likes and i was just thinking "so now, even if shorty is wrong nikkas is supposed to just give it a pass cause feminism?"
