Black people were def kept out, but that don't mean those policies, and expanding on it, still won't work.

If Kamala came out months ago talking about a federal jobs guarantee program designed to bring high speed rail to America, do you think white people would be upset working with a black and Hispanic person?

Should she have done it? Yeah. Sure it’s good proposal.

Would white people brand her a socialist and fight tooth and nail against it? Yeah. Which was my point.

This idea that white people will put aside their racism for material gains is fantasy. Throughout history they’ve shown time and time again they wouldn’t. ACA was but one example.

He’s never gonna admit that. He’s gonna die on the hill that if we appeal to broke white people enough we all can ride off into the sunset together. When they’ve proven over and over they’d rather do anything including fight a war for years rather than go that route.

Faux-populism. The left isn’t good at that because they’re too buttoned up and whenever they try - the corporate and institutional democrats tell them to stop. Team Biden told Walz to stop calling republicans weird. Sanders was criticized harshly by democrats on TV for calling Bloomberg an Oligarch. Democrats aren’t allowed to use the same language as republicans.
You just listed another reason why Bernie can’t win over these “economically anxious” whites. They can’t spell oligarch much less know what it means. He doesn’t talk like them. Doesn’t sound like them. Doesn’t act like them. He sounds good to the people that understand him, which is educated progressive whites.

I don’t think the portion who would call her a socialist outweigh the ones who would be down to work.

Bernie saying the millionaires and billionaires goes crazy. He won those people against Hillary in 2016. He also dominated with working class Latinos in the 2020 primary. They call that man Tio Bernie. Bernie doesn’t go on the campaign stump saying oligarchs lmao. He gives you the same hot 16 about Wall Street and billionaires. It’s the left version of drain the swamp.

I'm going have to admit this. They have tone down on the trans and lgbtq stuff.
They are still welcomed in the party but we cannot include that as a platform issue.
The right exploits it because it's a divisive issue.
not to mention the fact that WE ARE STILL the party of gay rights :mindblown:

we all support gay marriage, and adoption, and equal treatment. that DOES NOT include "trannies get to do whatever they want, and indoctrinate children"

i'm really supposed to apologize for that stance, and get called a bigot? :laff:

The queer crowd pushed too much but I understand, any oppressed minority will go hard for 'rights'. It's just not a winning issue.

Skip to 40 seconds if bored. Let’s just agree to disagree it’s getting late to be talking about politically irrelevant people. Let’s start listing out some names of people that could bring this country back towards some decency in 2028

Kamala literally didn't run on any of that and it didn't fukkin matter.

She ignored the bait on her race
She didn't go espousing any type of Trans Inclusion shyt
She didn't do the culture war shyt

But because she's a democrat and that was the most effective ad Trump ran based on some stats I saw. She got saddled with it.
Kamala's for They/Them--Trump is for You in a nutshell that moved the margin. Despite nothing in Kamala's platform focused on that particular culture war.

What do you do?

I already know there will never be a Republican platform that benefits me. But, if it helps getting left of Center people in office. Just fukking promote everything white people. Act like there are no LGBT people. Act like there has never been any fukkin history of mistreatment of any races.

Just whatever it takes to fukkin stamp out the culture bullshyt. So everyone can be honest about what "economic policy" really works. Because motherfukkers are not using that as their foundation for voting. Kamala won over Trump voters on blind economics polls. But you attach her name and they hated it. That tells me it's not fukking just economics.
