But nah, people definitely do this. My boy and I routinely upgrade our GPU before our added warranty expires. I'm due to return mines, get back like $700 and put that towards an even more expensive GPU.

Majority of Steam gamers aren't on high end GPUs, as most PS players won't be on PS5 pro either and that's fine.

On PC, Wukong has AMD frame generation and AMD FSR/DLSS to compensate for performance. With those options enabled, I can get 80+fps with a RX 7900 XT. If I turn on ray tracing, I'm getting killed and 30fps stable isn't even an option.
That 7900XT ran me almost $1K Jan 2023.
