He was trying to be careful with his words due to his relationship with both.

Him saying Spence is killing himself discredits Buds win, and him picking sides publicly can be a slippery slope being on where he sits on the business side + his relationship with the fights (hence the if you are doing business with PBC you are doing business with Floyd).

Part of me didnt see the tremendous hype in Lubin but part of me thought Mell was really being slept on. Boots I can see, but he still aint ready yet. Not even sure if he ready for Thurman or Garcia. in his fight before last he wasnt patient and was just gunning for the KO. in his last fight he was a lot more patient and when Villa knew there was no chance to win he tried to knock boots out and thats what opened himself up to be KOed.

Thurman is still a live dog for anyone imo, I think Danny has one foot out of the door currently.

People always talking about Spence's speech being slurred. But he sounded perfectly fine in this interview before the fight. And many others. just think dude be lazy with his southern accent at times. And his new teeth definitely affected his speech as well. But you can tell his enunciation is perfectly fine when he tries.

I actually gained respect for him the way he handled himself in the locker room. You can tell he was still a bit shell shocked at what happened. But he was basically just like it is what it is ......but he's always been a stand up dude. Just ran into a better fighter.

Other than talking about his fight with Chico and saying Errol should be at 160 or 168, he said a whole bunch of nothing.

Its too late. Spence shouls have been usinf this decade the fill out and slowly put on muscle. To be real after getting the first belt at 147 he shoulda moved up to 154, grabbed a belt there and then tried to undisputed 160. Probably woulda lead to a GGG showdown if my timelines arent off or a Mall Charlo/Boo Boo fight

Spence was slow as shyt Sat so I wouldn't use that as Bud not being able to be hit. Bud has been hit before and Mell is much more explosive than Spence imo. IMO Mell is a better athlete than Spence but Spence is more 'refined' (hence the Duncan comparison).

Yeah I always found spence better but Mell more dynamic. Mell may be the best athlete Bud would have faced in terms of explosiveness (others have neen fast, and porter is an athlete but im talking about explosiveness and ko power)
