To be honest. We've got to put this on KD.

It was his job as the leader to reign in and check Kyrie if needs be along with convincing Harden to fully buy-in for another year.

He failed to do that. There needed to be some sort of sit-down between the three to figure out what was going on and resolve any issues.

Now he lost Harden for Ben “The Invisible Man” Simmons who have never been traded for in the first place.
There was no convincing Kyrie. Kyrie said KD spoke to him and he hears his frustration. Blame Kyrie and stop it. The dude blew up a title contender to make a point. He’s a selfish bytch. I don’t ever want to see him play for Brooklyn again. And he’s played one good quarter this series.

How are you going to check any adult man for making a decision good or bad on what he feels are moral grounds? :gucci:

Kyrie the most headstrong player I’ve ever seen outside of maybe 2000-2003 Kobe and Kobe just wanted to ball his way. Kyrie didn’t want to play at all. Nothing KD could say or do was getting him on the court.

Naw Breh KD is the damn leader.

Whatever rift Kyrie and Harden had, it was KD's job to find out the cause and resolve that conflict or at least temporarily resolve it and convince James to buy-in until the end of the season.

He failed to do that. Harden NEVER should have been at the point where he wanted out mid-season (this is what has really killed the season)

Ben "The Invisible Man" Simmons is sitting on the bench laughing and smiling courtside whilst his defense could be used. KD hasn't said a damn thing or put any pressure on him.

It's just poor and weak leadership all round.

Lol what do you mean whatever the rift Kyrie and Harden had? We all know what the problem was. If there’s anything he should do its let management play hard ball with Kyrie and Ben

Leaders do it all the time.

If you're objective is to win a chip and you're unsure about Kyrie, it's on the leader to have a damn conversation with him and then assess what would be best going forward after said conversation.

The problem with KD is that he wants to be seen as the leader and just hoop, but doesn't want to take on the responsibilities a leader is meant to take on.

He couldn't convince James to buy-in for another 6 months? he couldn't talk to James and find out what his issue is whether it was Kyrie, the system, D'Antoni whatever, come on

Y'all still have bragging rights over Philly. Y'all blew them out after the Harden trade.

:wow:
