That has to be a part of this..

Just like any industry you gonna have people who can’t cut it

it MUST be...:francis: problem is companies like MS has no excuses considering the code for the games arent split between systems its one uniform code for their system. so the problem must be the workforce... they not pushing the XSX to its full potential off the bat...:manny:

At the end of the day, if you start raising expectations on what you want to see in a console game as far as tech goes, you might as well start saving for a PC. A lot of potential headaches there, but your games will be prettier 9/10 times.

A lot of the shyt marketed to the consumer when these consoles were being revealed was just that - marketing. It’s kind of funny how it is being walked back a bit but that is what happens when you are consumed by hype.

It’s also an issue of trying to keep the costs down for these consoles

If they jam all this tech in these consoles that will be able to push out 4k/60fps the cost will be more than the current $499 price point.

They must not think people will pay $600-$700 for a gaming console

I mean shyt people was paying $700 for the PS5 from scalpers when it came out and there was shortages...:dead: I'm sure the next systems will even be more expensive...:mjlol: :mjpls:

I think that’s the issue
Simple answer is up until now games were being built for hardware that cost $400 15 years ago.

It’s easy for modern hardware to brute force those games to 60fp.

As developers start to use modern graphics and logic tech, they are building it to modern hardware spec, and they don’t have the overhead to push high framerates unless that’s their goal from jump.

If console players want “next gen” graphics and tech then framerate is the sacrifice that has to be made.

$2000 PCs can’t even do what people are in here expecting their little $500 5 year old console to do:francis:
