Signed a job offer last night!

I feel kinda bad leaving my current gig so soon, especially after my friend (also my manager now) referred me. It'll only be 3 months (if you include my 2 week notice).

Also, about to get another offer tomorrow, I'm gonna tell them no, but I want to see what the offer is.

Started a new job and thought about rolling over my 401 into an IRA somewhere else. Any suggestions?

Kinda glanced over Schwab, Vanguard, etc. --- the usual sites, but the fine print is over my head. At this point, I doubt I'll roll it back into another employer sponsored 401K, and hopefully never need to borrow. So just looking for the best combination of low fees and selection of ETF's and mutual funds.

Might be a good time to chat with a professional

Who does your company use as their 401k provider?

Any ideas on how to create some “at home” revenue streams? The slower season at work is approaching and by next fall I’ll be taking 15+ credits so I need to get it now.

I’m talking something as small as $25 a day.

Amazon & Ebay are my main two right now.

But I have a lot of others I want to try that I have lined up that I need to get started on like building up a few different niche IG pages and using those to sell targeted products.

I keep doing mental gymnastics and running the numbers to see if I can afford $40-50k worth of car. I can afford the down payment if I drain my reserves. The loan rate, term, and payment are what will get me though. Ain't trying to drop 750-1250 in car payments each month for the next 3-5 years :franchit:.

DO NOT DO IT. Get yourself a slightly used car and be done with it.

Thrive Agric | The Process

My boy in Nigeria put me onto this crowdfunding agriculture investment vehicle of sorts.

The company is "Thrive Agric" and they essentially connect small scale farmers in Nigeria to whole sale buyers and processors. They have a subscription model where you can invest in a farm and get a cut of the profit the following harvest. Gonna look into a bit more.

The company was selected to participate in Y-Combinator (a startup accelerator that has housed the AirBnbs and other big name start-ups/tech companies of today).
