Why is that the case?
Cities like ATL, Dallas, etc are filled with old school tech companies or non tech companies with technology departments so they are usually out of touch with how to deliver software in a modern manner.
Why is that the case?
Still trying to get that first role. It's been rough though.
What are you trying to do and what city you in
How is your branding and marketing set up?If you sell online, please have multiple forms of contact up on your site so people that want to do business with you can actually reach you. There's this one supplier that I've been trying to lock down for the past couple days but I only have an email on them. Wish they had a phone number or fax number up but they literally have no other contacts. There's multiple people speaking their good graces though which is the only reason I'm still pursuing them. I already have two suppliers for my site and they're A1 but this one would complete the trifecta.
Next is customer service. This goes a long way and I don't think it's emphasized enough in some of these Ebay or Shopify courses I run across. Just by being professional and not talking to people like they're a burden I get so much extra business pointed my way.
One buyer from the UK was getting ready to purchase from me and found my item on another site for almost 3x less than what I have it up for. I sell it for $52 and they found it for $19. They still decided to purchase from me because I was kind and answered all of their questions quickly when they messaged me. This other buyer purchased from me and saw that my shipping address was in NJ. They're located in Cali but they told me they were originally from out here. Through talking to them I found out that we went to the same high school. This person said that they're going to purchase more items from my store simply because of that connection. The sale was already made but I wasn't cold towards them afterwards now I have a loyal customer. I get a lot of positive ratings highlighting my shipping times and customer service. There's a chat bot on my site so customers can hit me up through Facebook Messenger if they have any questions. Be accessible and be cordial. If customers give you issues try to handle it amicably and if they continue with the fukk shyt, cease communication and raise the issue with customer service.

I have one LLC that I use to open accounts with suppliersHow is your branding and marketing set up?
Do you run all of your sites/businesses under the same name across all platforms?
Do the items you sell on Ebay vary from what you sell on Shopify? I know you were saying before that you had two different ebay stores so I would assume they're different products on each one...?
Also, how is the Amazon light box working for you? Has it made any significant changes in your sales that you noticed?
Are you still using your iPhone camera?I have one LLC that I use to open accounts with suppliers
There are two brands that I operate under. One for my main Ebay store and another for my website. My Ebay has a Pinterest and my website has a Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. I have a designer I work with that handles the initial branding like logos and banners and I handle all of the other graphics. Different brand = Different niche.
The Amazon Photo Studio is for my second Ebay account. I haven't started listing on it but I was able to take some pictures and the quality is amazing. It's definitely worth the investment. If you want an idea of the picture quality, look at any of the "AmazonBasics" stock photos. It's like that, just a bit more realistic without the over-editing.
Yup. Just the iPhone. Are you still using your iPhone camera?
And I don't expect you to tell me exactly where you found yours, but when it comes to finding suppliers can you give any tips other than Alibaba/Aliexpress?
Yup. Just the iPhone.
About that other shyt, pm me. I'll get you headed in the right direction.
