It’s a bundle for multiple certifications. I’m thinking of working to get the A+ and the Security+ by the end of this year. Trying to enroll in this graduate program that would prep me to get the CISSP and the CCNA.

The A+ is cool, but I don't think you'll "need" if you have the Security+ and working towards the CISSP and CCNA. Do you already work in IT?

for the people who hold remote meetings at home on occasion..always make sure you are proper if your camera is by default turned on..else you may end up with your manager seeing you in your beater accidentally :francis:
 I joined a meeting on software that defaults to camera on. Thank God I wasn't working from home that day :whew:.

Finally starting my new fed civilian job.
Moving from alabama to georgia.
I'm going to miss alabama, and it isnt like I"m going anywhere near atlanta either.
But finally glad to be out of the contracting race.

Got my official CISSP designation, next year I should have enough experience to get my formal CISM designation.

Feels like career wise, I've got the experience, certs and degree and things are moving in overdrive.

-I'm definitely feeling a recession come 2019. Magnitude will be TBD.

Consumer debt is getting to pretty high levels.

-I was tempted to move out my spot ($600 a month with utilities, 15 mins out of DC, 2 roommates) but I'll stay here until end of 2019, minimum. I'm 23 so no rush to moving to DC proper and spending $1.2k - $1.5k a month.

-I've travelled quite a bit this year - and still have Nigeria at the end of the year - so I'll use the 1st half of 2019 to simply lay low, study for my 2nd GMAT and then stack my cash. I signed up for FPU (Financial Peace Uni) at my church so I'm looking to implement that plan for most of 2019. Ideally by June of 2019 I should triple my savings, be completely debt free (even those parking/DC speeding tickets) and have some money in a 401k.

-Ideally by Dec 2019 I'd like to make a pivot to Nigeria. Take a bit of a risk to really advance my career but more importantly push myself out my comfort zone.

-One good thing is that my living expenses are very low and I can wipe out my "debt" with my savings and still have abou a 2 month buffer.

Good luck breh. Let me know how FPU works out for you. I watch all of Ramsey's vids on YT but haven't taken his courses.

Your on the right track. I dont agree on Ramsey about everything but doing whatever you can to get outta debt is a good move :salute:

I sent an email to the International Commission on Healthcare Certification back in May to see if I qualified to sit for a particular certification.

I got a phone call TODAY :gucci: and they said I did. I was like, May? I dont remember what I did last weekend and you asking me about an application I submitted back in May :what:

Nevertheless, now that I know I can do it, I will start studying as soon as I get some free time. :ehh:
