My 20-year high school reunion is coming up but I'm going to pass, a $1k trip to spend my bday in New Hampshire isn't exactly my idea of a good or worthwhile time. I'll go to my 25th though, show my boy the beautiful campus and all the saltines I grew up with

Also, hilarious that I'm still denying being a full-fledged middle aged adult. Was chatting with my parents about my son walking and my Dad goes, 'He walking on his grandma birthday" I go 'huh what grandparents' :dead: they're also young as hell though in my defense (Dad 59, stepmom like 47)

I had a Uncle who got stationed in Vermont and chose to retire there. His whole family line still up there. This is like my great great uncle. I met him maybe once in my entire life. I always joke his family gotta be 40% of Vermont's black population

I’m due for a promotion in the next couple of months but I can’t help but feel it came 6-8 months late. You never want to compare yourself to others but I definitely have seen others on my team get that Manager to Senior Manager promotion in 2 years and some change rather 3 years.

I know we had a re-org and there were some leadership changes but still. I think my manager could have made the case for me back in November to have been promoted for February.

Over a career it all evens out but I always want to be ahead of the 8-ball.

Told my manager today I wasn’t particular enthused with how he re did our roles and responsibilities. Didn’t give me enough exposure to some of the more high priority projects IMO.

I’ll still bank the promotion but I’m looking elsewhere internally and externally. Three years on the same account is enough.

I went to boarding school through a program for smart urban low-income youth, from Newark to New Hampshire

Gotta be St Pauls or Exter Academy

I see you

:mjlol: I really wish management would stop being dumb and just extend client delivery deadlines. So I got to client sites at 9:00 AM and am there all the way to 5 PM, lunch, nap, then you expect me to spend 8 to12 midnight working to deliver compliance papers :mjlol:.

I truly don't get this shyt, not only that, they love blaming us when people are late on their projects, it's not because people are slacking either. Extend the damn deadlines.

Got a technical interview this week, I seriously hope I am able to solve this shyt
