I was lucky enough to be directly contacted for that one. Update - rejected :skip: . But all the stuff I've put in manually for hasn't gotten any play either. This company is starting to feel like the hood. You either die or get laid off, can't get out any other way :to:
:wow: and they got you coming in the office 3 days a week. Just wait until they switch it back to 5 :whew:

I have absolutely no work life balance man :mjcry:. This is suppose to be "busy season" but man I have never worked this hard in my life. I am legit working weekends to keep up and even nights.

I was suppose to be training but then some people got fired and I got tons of projects dropped on my lap. Once I get QSA and Hitrust experience, I am bouncing.

:mjlol: nope lol. A lot of people just accept it as is. Like I'm on a Friday, it's obvious dudes are swamped with work. CEO is a workaholic n expect the same.

No extra pay, base 100 pay then an extra 55K is based on projects so I have the potential to max out but it's it ain't worth it if I have no life on my own.

It's not really hard work just too much work

Just got contacted for a role with a slightly higher title but a pay cut- gonna chat to aim higher but this one’s a definite no

Biggest layoff ever at my company

Somehow I survived :mjcry:. I was literally texting my coworkers as it was going down and we all were wondering if the cuts would hit our team.

Sure enough it did. Lost 3 co-workers.

If you work in IT and work in any of these positions

- Management
- Analyst or Project Manager.

You'll be cut first before the technical roles. So I advise to be as technical as possible( Developer , Network Admin , Security etc ).

You can thank the FANNG( Specially Facebook & Twitter ) companies for this.

When the company announced the lay-offs ( I knew exactly how they were going to do it from watching the below podcast )

I’m only passively looking but this hopped in my inbox. I’m just tryna be set up to max out my mat leave/pay and if the right opportunity comes along jump ship :pachaha:

Really depends on the company and the direction they are moving. I would pay attention the to open positions they have and keep checking that etc. I mean we lost people across all IT departments. I just know the most non-technical people will be hit the hardest. :(

Been looking to leave my job due to my manager being a condescending micromanager plus Rto with no huge raise :hhh: using the same
Keyboards even used ChatGPT and barely getting call backs

I feel Obreh on the companies feeling like the hood, I only was able to move due to vivid unemployment :sas1:
