Pretty sure Elon broke 2FA weeks ago and prior to that had laid off the team responsible for it.Twitter locked my account because in reference to Hershel Walker I replied "Keep that house negro away the white house" or something dumb like that. I'm mad because the instructions to verify my email (I don't have my phone attached to my account) don't align with the instructions. I hate when they say do XYZ and XYZ isn't available.
Oh I blame Elon. He was the first person I cursed after Hershel. I blocked Elon on Twitter as well.Pretty sure Elon broke 2FA weeks ago and prior to that had laid off the team responsible for it.
I got him blocked but his shyt still shows up on my feed when I'm just trying to interact with former co-workers on my SFW Twitter account.Oh I blame Elon. He was the first person I cursed after Hershel. I blocked Elon on Twitter as well.
Damn, they both leaving. LMAO.have a last min CEO announcement put on everyone's calendar this morning - wondering if it's to formally announce to the company the VP of Sales is out and our VP of Mktg is leaving or if it's in response to our competitor raising a round this week or something else
lol, my manager got the promo...but between this and all the shyt they were talking about a review cycle and forcing people into lower performance levels, i'm just gonna keep a lightly active job search...tech is a hot mess right nowDamn, they both leaving. LMAO.
Time to put in your resume for that promotion.
Those Indians always sound like a good, cheap idea until they are ready to hold a zoom call at 10pm your time in response to an email you send at 8am. The time zone difference alone is hell, then you have the accents. When will companies learn to stop being cheap.
We have an app that's basically a C# + SQL Queries glued together. The company wanted to modernize the application.
So they hired a team of Offshore contractors( maybe 6 - 8 ) of them and utilized our developers + business analyst for knowledge transfer.
The offshore contractors from India spent over a year developing the application just to have it canned a month ago due to very little progress and a ton of bugs.
Money wasted and nothing to show for it lol

They never learn. 3rd party offshore contractors should be used for menial processes that are well documented and have little to no room for going off the rails. I've found that they (even payroll employees) self destruct if they are required to use even the tiniest bit of judgement. All domain knowledge and product development should be kept in house.Lol.. my company hasn’t learned their lesson yet.
Years ago we were trying to get off the mainframe and we had this stupid process called Follow the Sun.
Devs would work during the day here and a offshore team would pick up their work lol. Process set us back a few yrs and a complete waste of $$.
Recently our CTO said we are trying to move away from contractors.. we’ll see lol
