The thing about data is, if the company has shyt data and no plans to improve, any job involving using the data is going to be hell. “Yes that would be nice to see, but you’re not capturing that data point” rinse and repeat.
I do know that I’ve interviewed several places and never once asked ETL processes or if there are any standards for the data. I mean I asked which technology they use for ETL, but not if they gave a fukk about the end product of the process. I have to formulate some insight around that so I can put it on my list of standard questions.
Project management is looking a tad more peaceful, but that depends too. It’s really the company.
