Oh wow! Are you in a rural-isharea? No racc00ns or skunks...to my knowledge, but a few foxes and tons of rabbits.
Jersey.

Or a coyote. I was on my way to ball with someone and a coyote just came running right across the road. Glad we were in a car.
You win breh. I'll take my chances with racc00ns and skunks :pachaha:

Applied to the role. All signs are looking good so far, God willing I land this, and I think I'm on the right path concerning my 10 yr plan. One of my mentors who is doing what I'd like to do in 5-10 years was on this same team in a similar role. He's since pivoted to SSA (Sub Saharan Africa) fintech which is where I'd like to be in the next 5-10 years.

Talked with the HM’s counterpart today and essentially got a “soft” offer. Also told my manager and the manager who hired me today. The manager who hired me wasn’t as enthused it seems, but my current manager was supportive.

This is a big move on up.

The CEO asked me if there was anyone at my old company that could fill any critical job openings. I say there’s one I can think of. So he asks me to reach out via LinkedIn and she says she’ll take a look at the job opening.

Last week in the weekly companywide zoom call, he asks me about it and I say I’ll reach out again.

Reaching out again seems excessive. He’s going to ask again in the Monday meeting. What do I tell him during the meeting this time so he won’t ask again?

The lack of planning and communication on certain projects is annoying.

I’m planning out new conference rooms.I’m working with the chief of staff and her lack of understanding about how a conference room would work is strange. Like having to explain that you don’t need to login to it. And how’s it would connect to the company calendar.

Also they didn’t give me a budget or a deadline.
