So pumped to put a meeting on the calendar just to waste someone's time.

Him: I want you to help me manipulate this data in Qlik
Me: Cool, is it in Qlik yet?
Him: No, I'm still building the table.

Please end this zoom meeting and go work on your table. Yo really set up an hour for us to talk for 10 mins.

Stop playing like I'm not the star player on my team :upsetfavre:
And be crying in the bathroom when that promotion passes over their doing the most ass.

Did more informational interviews with Team X that I'm interested in. I talked to one director and although she works within Team X, she's in a slightly different vertical, and one that actually seems a bit more interesting to my long-term aspirations. The issue is she isn't looking to hire for another couple of months. Team X with Director A is looking to hire for Job A within the next couple of weeks (this is the role I've been closest to). Director B (who I talked with today) may not be looking to hire until the end of summer.

Director B also told me Job A has had quite a bit of churn being that it's dealing with a high-profile client. There's a lot of executive visibility but also a lot of executive decisions making so you are a tad limited in your own autonomy.

Ideally, I'd like to transition into a new role by the time summer starts so it coincides with when I move apartments, however, I think waiting for the right opportunity is much better....more informational interviews this week.

I’m applying to Job A. The role is already funded so it’s a “bird in the hand” so to speak. Job B hasn’t been approved yet so it’s a toss up as to when it’d get funded. Sometimes it’s best to take the opportunity you have now.

Waking up early has always been the move, I'm usually up by 5:30-6am, but I'm gonna try for 4-4:30 moving forward. I get so much more done early morning.

I'm trying to get into the habit of waking up earlyevery day even when I don't have to. You just get a better general sense of accomplishment when you do.

Getting up early is easier if you go to bed at a consistent be time. I know someone that works part time and wants to stay up all night when they don't have work the next day. I'm like if you just go to bed at the same time every night, you wouldn't struggle so damn hard to get up on work days :skip:. You can't tell nobody nothing though.

Yeah...my issue has been going to bed at a consistent time due to my midday naps.

I've been keeping myself busy enough to miss the naps lately...so I'm in bed by 11 the latest and "awake" by 6

Applied to the role. All signs are looking good so far, God willing I land this, and I think I'm on the right path concerning my 10 yr plan. One of my mentors who is doing what I'd like to do in 5-10 years was on this same team in a similar role. He's since pivoted to SSA (Sub Saharan Africa) fintech which is where I'd like to be in the next 5-10 years.

4:30-5am is my sweet spot. I like to walk in the mornings while it’s dark or exercise period to get it over with.
Yeah that midday, afternoon, evening workout never worked for me. Back when I was going to the gym I wanted to be in and out before 7, 7:30. Avoid the crowd that was just at the gym to be seen :lolbron:

The midday-evening is too unpredictable for me to include working out. Always some random meeting or invite. Then I like to do my chores or run errands during weekday evenings, so I can chill on the weekend. Nothing ever jumps off at 4:30am lol.
