Just let the work do the talkin...I hate how black people always have to "prove themselves" in the worm environment.
Breh I'm actually on top of my shyt
Stop playing like I'm not the star player on my team

They've got different concentration tracks you can follow. Mine is more towards strategy and management. What'd your specialize your MBA in?
I'm wishy washy about it. Figured certs and networking is enough
And be crying in the bathroom when that promotion passes over their doing the most ass.I hate how black people always have to "prove themselves" in the worm environment.

Did more informational interviews with Team X that I'm interested in. I talked to one director and although she works within Team X, she's in a slightly different vertical, and one that actually seems a bit more interesting to my long-term aspirations. The issue is she isn't looking to hire for another couple of months. Team X with Director A is looking to hire for Job A within the next couple of weeks (this is the role I've been closest to). Director B (who I talked with today) may not be looking to hire until the end of summer.
Director B also told me Job A has had quite a bit of churn being that it's dealing with a high-profile client. There's a lot of executive visibility but also a lot of executive decisions making so you are a tad limited in your own autonomy.
Ideally, I'd like to transition into a new role by the time summer starts so it coincides with when I move apartments, however, I think waiting for the right opportunity is much better....more informational interviews this week.
Waking up early has always been the move, I'm usually up by 5:30-6am, but I'm gonna try for 4-4:30 moving forward. I get so much more done early morning.
Getting up early is easier if you go to bed at a consistent be time. I know someone that works part time and wants to stay up all night when they don't have work the next day. I'm like if you just go to bed at the same time every night, you wouldn't struggle so damn hard to get up on work days . You can't tell nobody nothing though.I'm trying to get into the habit of waking up earlyevery day even when I don't have to. You just get a better general sense of accomplishment when you do.
Yeah...my issue has been going to bed at a consistent time due to my midday naps.Getting up early is easier if you go to bed at a consistent be time. Yeah that midday, afternoon, evening workout never worked for me. Back when I was going to the gym I wanted to be in and out before 7, 7:30. Avoid the crowd that was just at the gym to be seen4:30-5am is my sweet spot. I like to walk in the mornings while it’s dark or exercise period to get it over with.

I've been keeping myself busy enough to miss the naps lately...so I'm in bed by 11 the latest and "awake" by 6
