The updates deliver lists of sites identified as sources of malware, spam, botnets, and phishing to Cisco appliances, which can automatically apply them so that admins don't have to add to the always-growing list of threats manually.

But once Cisco changes to the new certificate authority, Firepower devices "might" not be able to receive Talos updates."

basically the sent out this out on the 22nd , expecting all their clients to have this done by march 6. Also every software updates is a damn disaster.

Cisco is only good for ISRs, ASRs, and switches (Catalyst/Nexus). All that other shyt they peddling is garbage.

DNA Center, SDWAN, Firepower are all garbage :francis:

managing this dude is taking me back to my days as a tutor in HS - like "here, lemme just do this, it's taking way too long to coach/teach your ass" but i'm burnt out...can't wait for the clock to log off for the week
every team has that one person who annoys everyone else, this is the dude i'm managing. i try not to get annoyed with him and do my job to remove blockers, but lord he just goes right back around and stirs shyt up :snoop:

Been working like crazy for the last 2 weeks. Comp Planning season is crazy for an HR Breh.

Worked 12+ hour days for 10 days straight, in prep for separate meetings with 4 C-Suite execs (HR, CFO, Mktg, Legal). Good visibility for your boy, but I need a vacation.

You gonna put a PIP on his head?

My boss gave me the best compliment: "6 months in, and I don't have to worry about you or the work you're doing" :hubie:

One thing I dislike about getting a new manager midway into your role is their ramp up period.

Ima need to have a skip level meeting with my former manager (John Smith). This arrangement isn’t working at all.

I’ll ask her a question and she’ll be like let me touch base with John and find out :francis:

only 1 month left of Q1... Madness time flies. I'm currently applying for 5 jobs a day and I have a call scheduled for Friday for a job, i done some spying on Linkedin for people with the same job currently working there and im unimpressed, will just take this as a chance to practise interviewing and keep it moving.

smh and lol at non 500 fortune companies who dont offer 100% remote work, I cant lie i've been blessed to be able to go full remote but it's going to suck if I have a job and need to go back to the office. Oh well, have to take the rough with the smooth.

Any senior level HR Business Partners in this thread? A role opened up at my company. Might be tied to NYC or LA, maybe remote/hybrid. Tech company pay

This role would be working directly with me :whoa:

So I’m employee #22 at this startup. The office building is a very swanky tech incubator where companies can graduate to bigger offices.

They need to be a little more hands on when onboarding though. Like clear first day instructions.

I can already see where I need to make changes. They’re using MS Intune to management Macs and I need to get rid of it because it’s awful. Azure for SSO seems to be pretty good though.

One of those places where projects are siloed, but all using the same data and sharing data. So frustrating treating these as separate projects.

I don't understand how people "plan" stuff, but can't be bothered to hash out the critical details until right before shyt is supposed to happen. How you wanna do shyt that gets increasingly expensive the longer you wait while waiting to the last second to make a decision?
