i know when i get paid...but for whatever reason they like to send a notification that a pdf copy of my paycheck is ready to be viewed..and i cant turn it off either...its weird

I get that recruiters gotta contact as many people as possible to fill these open positions but stop wasting my time with anyone who wants me in their office

And a lot of these companies are 25 miles from my crib

one of the biggest teases is 3-4 days before payday i get an email from the HR platform my company uses talking about my paycheck is available online....what i get paid doesnt change like that...they should send that email the day before the direct deposit hits...thats just how i feel...first world problems

I wish I knew 4 days ahead. Even if it's the same, let me know so I get my spreadsheet ready lol

I got offered a promotion and turned it down because that's not what I wanted to do. My director is a cool guy and understood where I'm coming from. I did this job to help him and once I graduate with this MBA this summer they are going to need to do a little better than that.

This year is my show and prove year on all fronts. Career, finances, personal development, etc. 2020 and 2021 the pandemic brought things to a bit of a slow down and I couldn't really go in on some of the plans I had. That's not the case anymore.
