One thing I don't like about LinkedIn is how overly positive people are, I'm not sure how to put it into words. Like some feel good positivity article is posting and 80% of the replies are some form of "thanks for sharing", "inspirational", or some other brown noser yes-man platitude. I'm tired of reading the surface grateful rejection to success stories . At a glance there's just a lack of critical individuals. I people want to curate an image on there, but very rarely does anyone feel genuine.i like having and using linkedin...i add almost everyone that wants to link...its my lone strictly professional social media...no fukkery or BS but gotdamn man dont use it as an opportunity to try to meet some quota about some shyt...some kid from one of my alma maters saw i went there and was like he wanted to be some network shyt...im like cool and accept him..then after he is trying to get 10 mins of my time to talk about financial planning ridiculous
Got the gig. I came up a 30% increaseHad a final round interview with a VP for this dope role on Thursday. Nailed every interview prior but felt this one went okay... maybe it was because he was so senior. Literally can't think about anything else as I'm waiting to hear back
Managing cash flow more important than paying people breh. You'll get your money, but you have to ask.Got $100K in receivables I need to collect before the end of the month from clients. Pay your invoices you clowns
Midyear unprompted raise. My title got bumped, high performers like me got a little extra. I really did need this to offset my rent increase a few months ago. Car definitely about to be paid off before the end of the year. I'm STILL going to leave this job though, I'm not about to sit here and stagnate due to bad decisions from managers.
Clients talking crazy like they won’t get smacked up on real life
Everybody is hot shyt over emails
