Something i noticed the other day. I shared 2 job postings on my LinkedIn...these were openings that were on my team...one position that was on my level, the other a level below...im like if youre interested let me know and ill be a reference (i get 1000 extra in my paycheck for a successful hire who gets past his or hers 90 day probational period)....ive had like 7 ppl in my linkedin inbox who hold pretty high positions...like they are directors and shyt wanting to know whats good...i dont know if its the place i work at and they assume the rep it has because its very known or they are tired of the responsibilities of their own job even though its pays them well or both...shyt is just crazy to me

-Should have taken my mentor’s advice and take the GMAT back in uni, mentally drained and not hitting the score I have in mind :francis:. May just cancel my test date for this year and make it a priority next year. I do feel some type of way since the pandemic was the perfect time to knock it out...

honestly the best thing i could have done was take the GMATs immediately after i graduated and did my MBA in my mid 20s...when i had less responsibilities and more patience to grind...i see some of my friends now like you that have been working and now they are in their mid to late 30s with more adult responsibilities wanting to do their MBA and they are kinda going through what youre going through

I’m 26 now and the avg age at the top MBAs is 28 so I got a little time to get it right. Definitely want to knock it out before I hit 30 and look to settle down/transition to SSA.

I’m more beating myself up for not knocking out the GMAT over the pandemic when I had time. Just been mentally drained to study as intensely as I need. Add to that I’m moving cross country for work and I’d prefer to use my first year in my new state exploring, networking and developing in my industry. No studying lol.

Got another interview today for an IT manager job. I think (and hope) this is the last round.
Hope I hear back about this job soon. It's the one I really want.

I also had an interview for an IT position on the same day last week. The company got back to me and said that there's about 3 hours worth of interviewing left. I don't understand why this is necessary for an IT job. I've already had 45 minute interviews with the head of IT and one of the senior guys on the team.

Any recommendations for a business/systems analyst?:patrice:
Literally a systems analyst in title, but I'm not directly involved with programming at all (there seems to be variance industry wide on that).
I'm working on my ECBA or CCBA for the business side of my job, but I have been looking at CompTIA certs to get more knowledge on the IT side.

Smh did they say that before hand? This the type shyt I be talking about. If they have you a heads up, you’d know to wait for an update.
I only know because I asked my old coworker who referred me. They haven't given me any updates after the interview I had a week ago.
