You don't even have to do that if you live in an at will employment state. You can walk out when you want. On the flip, they can also fire you when they want.blows my mind how you americans only have to give 2 weeks notice
it's just insane, in europe 1 month is standard and depending on the industry your're in and position it's sometimes even 3 monthsYou don't even have to do that if you live in an at will employment state. You can walk out when you want. On the flip, they can also fire you when they want.

Today was the first day of the new job. I should’ve aimed for a better role.
Part of it is me generally being a whiny dude sometimes…especially when I’m complaining about career stuff. What is it you don't like about the job?

But it also feels like I’m moving backwards. Work wise, the job is the same as my previous job was when I started back in 2019. But after some time there, I didn’t have to do much of the support grunt work and my day to day was project work.
I also didn’t realize how tired I was of low level IT work. There will be opportunity at this new place for the kinds of roles I’m interested in. But I don’t know how long I’ll have to wait.
It’s my fault because I wanted to get back to work quick so I wasn’t wasting money while not bringing any in.
Have new people to network with.
What kind of job are you trying to get?Is it possible to get a job with just free Coursera certifications? Im not sure where to even look for entry level stuff
