Time to push through this final quarter of 2020 (can't believe it's already October). Let's see where things stand at the end of the year....
No benefits ?Recruiter presented me with either $91,000/yr, plus benefits, or $62 no benefits. I went with the hourly rate.

No benefits ?
No benefits ?
The rate is more important to me for future roles. I can pay for my own “benefits” and most will be tax deductible. Not like this is a forever job. I can be debt free including mortgage in about 2 years with that rate.
What was so difficult about it? The cost is higher but for the most part you pay the premium, get your card and keep it moving.ive had that life before...paying for my own benefits...that was a whole bunch of BS..will never do that again unless i am running my own business or something of that nature
Look at starting your own consulting firm. You’re doing the same work, just getting paid differently.Sometimes I wish I had entrepreneur skills. The amount of time I have sacrificed to get a piece of the pie is crazy. It has worked in my favor but I wish I was an owner or something .
Exactly. All they care about is the amount. That’s such a good idea for a short term role. The future jobs will not know about you taking no benefits just the money.
Coli comes through once again
Did the same thing. All jobs should present you with that option especially if you’re young and healthy with no kids.Recruiter presented me with either $91,000/yr, plus benefits, or $62 no benefits. I went with the hourly rate.
