tbh some of it is so old i just look for the cracked files at times and download them no cost. usually a bunch of Linux shyt.

but as a rule, i always try to read through books and do the shyt as i go since i tend to learn best that way so i dont mind spending a little here and there.

Having patience is so important. Because I swear nothing is ever enough. No matter how many skills you learn, you need more so just do what’s necessary, suck it up and and try to have a good attitude in between that. Rant over.
That only applies to black people. Because I know several white dudes who lost IT jobs but within less than a week got hired elsewhere. While I'm having to jump through multiple interviews with companies that take weeks. We have to be over qualified to get the same exact roles.

I’ve learned to stop comparing my experiences to white folks because it will never be the same. I can only work within my lane and define my success within the resources I have.

I still do it because it pisses me off and I use it as motivation. I function better when I'm angry.

Logged onto LinkedIn today and had a bunch of InMail dated from a month to a week ago. :sadcam:

Before I would get an email, but I think when I deactivated my account a few months ago and re-activated, I had to turn that feature back on.

I be ignoring the shyt out of InMail if it's not directly from a company. I actually have 1 or 2 that I should take a look at before too long.

Yeah, most of them were BS. The one I responded to was a recruiter from Deloitte. I'm at the point now where whatever is meant for me will be. Delayed InMail responses and all.

I hate these MFs at work man. Expect an environment to be stood up unless than a week, knowing damn well we always have problems with the platform that take several days to resolve, and only give me the information I need to start making the configuration a few days ahead of time :snoop:. I applied to another job internally and have been telling myself that I should just stick it out, but bullshyt like this makes it hard not to leave.
