Seeing a little traction on the job front. One role was a data analyst, $50/hr on 1099, about 10 minutes from my house. 3 months + extension. The description said it would be a lot of budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis, which I enjoy. I really do like organizing other people's money
The other was an IT project manager and on God, they are either running through people like crazy or it's expanding due to COVID, because it's for this educational project with Baltimore County Public Schools. I can tell by the job description. This would be more in the $60-$75 range and it's what I want and I do want my PMP. It would be a good way to help me study. But working with government is always a bunch of red tape. You get paid a grip for doing absolutely nothing that will be worthwhile. I like to see projects get completed.
I'll see what happens. My goal is $125k salary. I calculated in the cost of my degree, plus my bills, debt payments and money I'd like to save, live and invest on and I can be comfortable there. But I was I was also comfortable at my last role of $95k, so I can grow into my goal and as debt decreases, the more salary I have to play with.
