At work getting to the money ignoring the haters. We're dealing with a lot of BS layoff rumors and I'm playing catch up making up for last week. Haven't been to Gym since Sunday. No excuses. Have been eating a lot healthier this week tho so I'll be back in Gym soon.

1.85 miles in 32 mins 411 Calories

If you want something more efficient in terms of calorie burn x time, try the jump rope. Its difficult and has a learning curve but with the weight you at now, you are likely to burn just shy of 600 calories in half an hour. You burn more but its takes way more effort and starting out is gonna be frustrating because you might not be able to keep a good jump rhythm but you keep at it for a couple months and you will see it is the most rewarding cardio excercise you probably have ever done in your life.

terrible advice.

I mean at 284 he's better off spending most of his time shedding the weight for a month or two. He's at a weight where he can burn 800+ calories in an hour on the treadmill. That's 4200 calories on a shyt diet in a week (imagine if he ate right too). Imo he'd see his biggest progress doing that.

I'd probably have him spend 80% of his time with cardio and the other 20% doing body resistance training and weights

Let me do some foxy brown math on this

his bmr is 2500 calories to maintain his weight

1 hour on the treadmill = 800 cals
1800 calorie diet = -700

1500 caloric deficit per day

10,500 caloric deficit per week

Divide by 3500 and we can have homeboy losing 3 pounds a week.

12 pounds a month.

48 pounds in 4 months which would put him at 236.

Probably have him rocking size 36 jeans by november. Size 34 if they got spandex

if you want him to be a drooping sack of loose skin then go for it lol.

At his size he can do a basic Workout like Starting Strength 3 times a week and get his diet in check and he will shed weight with ease. He should slowly add the cardio in because once he is actually lean he will need to increase his cardio so he doesnt have to eat 1500 calories or something to lose weight.
